Salon du livre de Montréal & Doyle

The Montreal Book Fair is an annual event celebrating the fun of reading and fostering community for book lovers, booksellers, publishers, and librarians in Quebec. Since 1978, the event has taken place at Place Bonaventure, hosting hundreds of thousands of visitors and authors.

For the 2019 fair, Montreal based designers at Principal Studio use Doyle as the primary typeface for the identity, digital media, signage, and clothing. Pairing the darkest weight of Doyle with cheerful, colorful illustrations, they capture the organization’s values to reach audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
