Misfits Market is an online grocery platform connecting small farmers directly with local consumers. Evident in the name, Misfits Market sells cosmetically disfigured, but altogether perfect, fresh produce that would be otherwise discarded. Their mission? To "benefit farmers, help prevent food waste, and ultimately save our environment." They currently have operations based in Philadelphia and New Jersey, rescuing produce from regional farms and distributing it throughout the Northeast in three business days or less.
