Firefox & Sharp Sans
Mozilla’s Firefox is an open-source, encrypted web browser founded in 2002 that puts privacy first. In 2019, they began a major brand evolution led by Art Director Tim Murray and an in-house team of designers. Firefox defines itself as a living brand, meaning they believe that the brand should evolve and change as the world changes. With the new launch, they openly invited users and followers to provide feedback — a rare practice in the era of rebrands.
Sharp Sans was chosen as their primary typeface for a feeling of openness and accessibility, while also echoing the design of icons and graphics.
