Botanical Inspiration: Nature in art and illustrationis a collection of nature artwork contributed by contemporary artists from around the world. Published by Victionary, the book discusses how as early as the days of scientific explorers and impressionist painters, many artists have used flora to “convey the very essence of our existence.” 

The book uses Ogg for titles and literary excerpts alongside images of flora and fauna depicted in a variety of visual styles, techniques, and media. The airy and elegant calligraphic strokes of Ogg pair well with the vast and vibrant interpretations of nature: from blooming mushrooms rendered with acrylic paint on wood, to riso prints of blooming bouquets.
