Banger is a quarterly music magazine from London that features monthly gig listings and interviews with artists. Since its launch in 2018, the magazine has used Trois Mille (3000) as the primary typeface for both print and digital platforms. 

When creating the magazine, the design studio c-ll-ct-v-ly wanted the typography to be experimental, dynamic, and expressive, making Trois Mille a perfect fit. With a distinct personality throughout the superfamily, the typeface’s internal contrast methodology has a distinct flair when used individually. At the same time, Banger’s curated Spotify playlists by featured artists show off Trois Mille’s rhythmic texture by mixing multiple weights and widths against graphic illustrations.
